President’s Message

It is my distinct pleasure and privilege to address you as the new President of the Somali Medical Association.
I want to thank all the members for giving me this honour. The leadership you are showing/providing will.
continue to help the profession of medicine and ultimately our patients.
SMA’s main activities include a license of all Somali doctors, living at home and abroad, and publishing Somali.
Medical Journal provides continued medical education to update the knowledge of its members and empower them.

the country with the scope of medical practices. I hope to strengthen alliances with other medical organizations and reinforce SMA’s presence in academics, research and collaborative ventures. I am also planning to strengthen joint ventures with community organizations to bring about health and political awareness and accessibility. My appeal is to encourage every Somali Medical Doctor to join SMA and add value its activities, I pray to Allah to guide me during my tenure as your President.
